About the Star Rival

We were impressed with the Star Rival inflatable kayak during our testing. On the water, the handling and stability exceeded our expectations, as we found that it tracked and paddled like a hardshell kayak. Due to its innovative design and construction, we experienced almost no flexing or lag when paddling, which is a common issue with inflatables.

As for comfort, the adjustable foot braces and seat made long paddling sessions enjoyable. Despite its compact size, the Star Rival offers ample onboard storage, including cargo space in the bow and stern, and bungees for attaching gear.

When deflated, the kayak is extremely portable, folding down small enough to fit into a backpack. We also found the durability to be exceptional, thanks to the heavy-duty polyurethane-coated polyester material. Overall, we highly recommend the Star Rival as an excellent one-person inflatable kayak option.
